Cops: 15 Cars Burglarized in Nassau

Nassau County Police report on crimes in the region.

Nassau County Police reported the following information.

  • Feb. 14: Benson Lane, North Merrick; catalytic convertor stolen.
  • Feb. 18: Jefferson Street, Inwood; glove compartment damaged, cellphone stolen.
  • Feb. 19: Lucille Roberts, Massapequa; drivers side window smashed, pocketbook stolen.
  • Feb. 19: JC Penney parking lot, East Garden City; items stolen.
  • Feb. 20: North Linden Street, North Massapequa; unknown man seen walking up driveway, opened passenger side door of car. Nothing stolen.
  • Feb. 20: Sewanee Avenue, Elmont; catalytic convertor stolen.
  • Feb. 22: Oxford Street, East Meadow; gift cards stolen from car.

  • Feb. 22: Devon Street, East Meadow; items stolen.
  • Feb. 23: Cedar Street, South Hempstead; EX Pass, phone card, coins stolen.
  • Feb. 23: Sun Avenue, Elmont; rear passenger window shattered.
  • Feb. 24: Wyckoff Avenue, Bellmore; roof rack stolen.
  • Feb. 24: Midwood Street, Uniondale; pocketbook stolen from car in driveway.
  • Feb. 24: Ruxton Place, Uniondale; backpack and textbooks stolen.
  • Feb. 24: Plymouth Court, Uniondale; jacket stolen.
  • Feb. 25: Carl Avenue, Franklin Square; tablet, O2 tank, regulator, and AED stolen.
