ICYMI: Long Beach Ranked Among Best Beaches Around NYC

Long Beach once again has been ranked as of one of the top beaches - this time by Conde Nast Traveler.
The popular local beach recently made their list of the top 11 best beaches within two hours of New York City.

"Rebuilt in 2013 post-Hurricane Sandy, the Long Beach boardwalk is just one reason to take the easy 50-minute train ride from Manhattan out. The surfable waves are another." the article reads.
Recently, Long Beach was ranked among the best beaches in America by USA Today.

Other Long Island beaches to make Conde Nast's list included Robert Moses State Park on Fire Island, Main Beach in East Hampton, Shelter Island and Montauk.
The three other New York beaches that made the list included Rockaway Beach in Queens, Orchard Beach in the Bronx and Coney Island.
Finally, New Jersey also ranked with Asbury Park, Sandy Hook Gateway National Recreation Area and Jacob Riis Park and Fort Tilden making the cut.
