LB Firefighters Fight Early Morning Fire At Orthodontist Office

No one was injured, and firefighters quickly had the scene under control.

The Long Beach Fire Department responded to an early morning alarm on Sunday at a business on East Park Avenue.

The call came in at 2:39 a.m. form an automatic fire alarm at an orthodontist's office. Firefighters were on the scene in minutes. They saw heavy smoke coming from the building, and quickly determined the fire was in the attic. Some firefighters entered the building and began fighting the fire in the attic while others searched the business for any potential victims.

The fire was quickly extinguished, and there were no reported injuries.
