Nassau Police: 16 DWIs Reported Last Week

Several incidents reported New Year's Day, cops said.

Nassau County Police reported the following information. Charges are accusations and do not imply guilt.

  • Jan. 1: Rene Juarez-Mejia, 28, of Little Neck, charged with DWI on North Service Road in Manhasset.
  • Jan. 1: Allyson Arroyo, 29, of Malverne, charged with DWI at Front Street and Hempstead Avenue in West Hempstead.
  • Jan. 1: Jason Chung, 26, of Alberston, charged with DWI at Herricks Road and Searingtown Road in Herricks.
  • Jan. 1: Jose Monje, 39, of Inwood, charged with DWI at Church Street and Mott Avenue in Inwood.
  • Jan. 3: Kenneth Leon, 22, of Merrick, charged with DWI on Merrick Road in Merrick.
  • Jan. 3: Maribell Benavides, 23, of Brentwood, charged with DWI at Sunrise Highway and South Central Avenue in Valley Stream.
  • Jan. 3: Mynor Argueta, 36, of Westbury, charged with DWI on I-495 in North Hills.

  • Jan. 4: Mullankuzhiyil Mathew, 67, of East Meadow, charged with DWI on Hilda Street in East Meadow.
  • Jan. 4: Elliot Ogulnick, 52, of Port Washington, charged with DWI on Stonytown Road in Plandome.
  • Jan. 4: Tracy Dean Taylor, 24, of East Meadow, charged with DWI at Hempstead Turnpike in East Meadow.
  • Jan. 4: Ravindra Ramnarine, 21, of Valley Stream, charged with DWI at Rockaway Avenue and Fairview Avenue in Valley Stream.
  • Jan. 4: Victor Moran, 19, of Lynbrook, charged with DWI on Long Beach Road in Oceanside.
  • Jan. 4: Carlos Portillo, 21, of Amityville, charged with DWI on I-495 in Roslyn Heights.
  • Jan. 4: Clinton Thomas, 25, of Coram, charged with DWI on I-495 in North Hills.
  • Jan. 5: Courtney Lupo, 26, of Plainview, charged with DWI at Randolph Avenue and Phoebe Street in Franklin Square.
  • Jan. 7: Guiseppe Colletti, 54, of Douglaston, charged with DWI at Route 25A and Plandome Road in Manhasset.
