Nassau Police: 19 Car Break-ins Reported

Nassau County Police report on crimes in the area.

Nassau County Police reported the following information.

  • Feb. 10: Coolidge Street, West Hempstead; laptop, laptop charger stolen.
  • Feb. 11: Oceanside Road, Oceanside; personal papers stolen.
  • Feb. 11: Central Avenue, Bethpage; license plates stolen.
  • Feb. 12: King Kullen, Bethpage; pocketbook stolen.
  • Feb. 13: Gulf Gas Station, West Hempstead; bag containing t-shirts stolen while woman was pumping gas.
  • Feb. 14: Warwick Street, Uniondale; license plates stolen.
  • Feb. 14: Cuccias Contractors, Massapequa; catalytic convertor cut from underneath parked car.
  • Feb. 14: Micro Center, Westbury; two laptops stolen from parked car.
  • Feb. 14: Old Country Road, Carle Place; pocketbook stolen.

  • Feb. 14: South Nassau Communities Hospital, Oceanside; passenger side window broken, no theft reported.
  • Feb. 14: Roosevelt Field Mall parking lot, East Garden City; assorted items stolen.
  • Feb. 15: Cherrywood Drive, North New Hyde Park; NYS license plates stolen.
  • Feb. 15: O’Connell Street, Massapequa Park; credit cards, cellphone stolen.
  • Feb. 16: Synergy Fitness Center, Baldwin; cash stolen.
  • Feb. 16: Everett Street, North Valley Stream; contents of handbag stolen.
  • Feb. 16: Morris Avenue, Malverne Park; two iPods and two GPS systems stolen.
  • Feb. 17: Hillside Avenue, Herricks; front passenger-side window smashed.
  • Feb. 17: Seaford Avenue, Wantagh; inspection sticker stolen from Ford F550 truck while it was in a fenced parking lot.
  • Feb. 18: Target, Levittown; passenger-side window broken, purse stolen.
