Nassau Police: Cars Ransacked, Catalytic Convertors Stolen

Nassau County Police report on larcenies from vehicles near Long Beach.

Nassau County Police reported the following incidents.

Larceny from Vehicles

  • Feb. 22: Squirrel Lane, Levittown; license plate stolen.
  • Feb. 23: Chestnut Lane, East Meadow; Stiletto 2 satellite radio stolen.
  • March 6: Jennings Avenue, West Hempstead; someone rummaged through car, nothing taken.
  • March 6: South Franklin Avenue, Valley Stream; wallet stolen.
  • March 7: Oxford Court, Cedarhurst; car ransacked, items stolen.
  • March 8: Rockaway Boulevard, Meadowmere; car ransacked, children’s clothing stolen.
  • March 8: Roosevelt Field Mall, East Garden City; wallet and contents stolen.
  • March 9: Nassau Road, Uniondale; four vans damaged, GPS units stolen.
  • March 9: LI Trailers, Massapequa Park; catalytic convertors stolen from multiple cars.
  • March 10: Best Yet Market, East Meadow; passenger side window broken, two notebooks stolen.
  • March 10: Dutch Broadway, Elmont; cash stolen, car entered through passenger side window.
  • March 10: 238th Street, Elmont; GPS, radio face plate stolen from locked car.
