Update: Cops Release Photo of Man Wanted in Oceanside Bank Robbery

Bank robbed Tuesday afternoon, cops said.

Nassau County Police released a photo of a man wanted for robbing an Oceanside bank Tuesday afternoon.

At 2:36 p.m., the subject entered Capital One Bank, located at 3151 Long Beach Road, and verbally demanded money, cops said.

The teller cooperated and handed over an unknown amount of cash, police said. The subject fled on foot toward Long Beach Road before turning West on Weidner Avenue, police said.

Four employees and one customer were inside the bank at the time. No one was reportedly injured, police said.

The subject was described as a 5-foot-9 man with a thin build. He was wearing a dark blue sweater, dark colored winter cap, dark colored scarf, and dark colored jeans and glasses, cops said.
