Police: Man Stabbed During Robbery in Freeport
Two men with small knives robbed victim Thursday night, cops said.

A man was stabbed during a robbery as he walked down Freeport street Thursday night, according to Nassau County Police.
The 28-year-old victim was walking on South Main Street at 10 p.m. when two men with small knives approached him and demanded cash, cops said. As the victim reached into his pocket, both subjects stabbed him in his right hand and right upper arm, police said. The victim fell to the ground and the subjects took cash from his pants pocket, cops said.
Freeport Police brought the victim to a nearby hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries, cops said.

The first subject was in his early 30s, tall, stocky build, and had a black beard. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt during the robbery. The second subject was in his late 20s and was wearing a blue jacket and blue hooded sweatshirt.
Detectives are asking anyone with information to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
