I’m talking about Hedy Page, of course. I'’ve written several essays about Hedy and her paintings, and if you follow me, you follow her.
Hedy Page was the Manhattan street artist whose paintings are now featured in museums and Fraunces Tavern.
They included the South Street Seaport, scenes from, the Lower East Side, and many others. But since Hedy moved to Long Beach she’s been painting—Long Beach.

Most of you know that Hedy, ninety-five, finished her ninety-third and final painting. She’s not hanging up her brushes, she’s just doing smaller-scale art.
