Two teen party hosts were issued summons this week.

Two Long Beach teens were issued summons this past week for hosting parties where minors were drinking alcohol, according to Long Beach Police.
On Sunday, an officer responded to a noise complaint on W. Olive Street where he saw open alcoholic beverages on the backyard deck, police said.
The 17-year-old hosting the party was issued a summons for violating the social host law for allowing minors to consume an alcoholic beverage on private property, police said.

The teen is summonsed to appear at Long Beach City Court on July 27.
Another violation was issued on Wednesday when a officer responded to a complaint for a loud party on Lincoln Boulevard and found alcoholic beverages in the yard of the home, according to police.

The 19-year-old resident was issued a summons for violating the social host law, police said.
She is summonsed to appear at Long Beach City Court on August.
"The Long Beach Police Department will not tolerate underage drinking in our community," a press release from the Long Beach Police Department read.
Earlier this month, 16-year-old Long Beach boy was issued a summons after hosting a party at his home on Harding Avenue where minors were drinking alcohol.
