Long Beach Tennis Center (LBTC)
invites kids to a U.S. Tennis Association Play Day/Tennis Carnival on Sunday,
October 7 from 3-5pm.
The event will feature
on-court skill building, games, raffles and prizes for newcomers to the sport
as well as those already enrolled in Junior Development programs. Courts will
be divided by age and ability. Participants should wear sneakers; all
equipment including tennis racquets and balls will be supplied.
The cost is $10 per child,
with proceeds supporting Cure Mommy’s Breast Cancer, a non-profit organization whose
sole purpose is to provide financial assistance, moral support, and educational
information to any man, woman or child in need of assistance while suffering
the burdens of this disease as well as other forms of cancer. Students currently enrolled in a LBTC Junior
Development program can bring a friend for free.
