Whales, Shore Life—It's All Good for Your LIfe

Any day we humans live on planet Earth is laced with drama, tension—and sometimes even fear.

Research has shown that exposure to nature can relieve stress. It’s also fun.

In these balmy Indian Summer times, we’ve had an extension of pleasant day walks on our beach and boards.

Lately, the fun includes whales!

Yes, the annual migration of humpbacks is a big show off our Long Beach shore. We have our boardwalk, a two-mile orchestra seating section to catch this way off-Broadway performance.

I often hear, “Wow!” as the whales burst through the surface. Usually, the shouts and pointing help me locate the whales to capture with my camera.
