Surviving October 7: A Great Neck Native's Fight Against Antisemitism

Event Details

159 Bayview Ave, Great Neck, NY, 11023

Join Great Neck native and Nova Music Festival survivor Natalie Sanandaji for a powerful evening of testimony and conversation. Natalie will share her firsthand account of surviving the October 7, 2023 Hamas terrorist attack, the journey that followed, and how that experience transformed her into an advocate against antisemitism.

As a Public Affairs Officer for the Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM), Natalie has spent the past three years documenting antisemitic incidents around the world, combating misinformation, and educating millions through her public advocacy. From her upbringing in Great Neck's Persian Jewish community to surviving the deadliest attack on Jews since the Holocaust, this program explores resilience, identity, and the growing challenge of antisemitism today.

The event will take place at the Great Neck Library (159 Bayview Avenue) on Tuesday, October 13, at 7:00 p.m. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors will open at 6:40 p.m. For more information, please call Great Neck Library at (516) 466-8055 or email adultprogramming@greatnecklibrary.org.
