COVID Clear Your Employees to Meet Health and Safety Guidelines

As Westchester and Long Island Officially Reopen, ACCESS Nursing Launches COVID Screening Service to Test, Triage, Trace and Track.

MAY 29, 2020 – Now that Westchester County and Long Island have officially reopened this week and Phase 1 businesses are returning to work, the next Phase businesses and restaurants are busy preparing for their re-entry. There are many new guidelines and processes to meet before re-opening, including the development of a COVID-19 Employee Screening and Safety Plan that features testing staff and diagnosing cases of coronavirus.

The COVID Clear employee screening program, developed to simplify the new requirements and to protect the health and safety of employees, has been launched by ACCESS Nursing Services, the leading provider of healthcare personnel to prestigious healthcare systems throughout New York and New Jersey. Each COVID Clear pop-up diagnostics service located on your company’s site will include a team of licensed nurses trained in COVID testing that will screen employees and determine the presence of fever or oxygen deprivation, as well as perform reliable diagnostics for the presence of antibodies.

“The state’s guidelines and requirements call for businesses to incorporate new health and safety measures, which can include screening employees to protect the health of the entire staff,” says Louise Weadock, president and CEO of ACCESS Nursing Services. “We designed COVID Clear to be a ‘Testing, Triage, Tracking and Tracing’ program that can help business owners and execs determine when they are able to open safely and responsibly.”

“We launched COVID Clear after receiving numerous calls from CEOs asking us to send them our most experienced COVID Care experts: ACCESS Nursing's COVID Care Force, which is made up of RNs, LPNs, Aides, Therapists and Techs,” says Weadock. “We saw an enormous need for a comprehensive COVID Clear program and service, based on the model we developed over 35 years in business providing top quality nursing services.”
