D&B Engineers and Architects Announces Promotion of Two New Principals
Adriana S. Restrepo, P.E., ENV SP and Michael G. Savarese, P.E. become newest Principals at D&B
D&B Engineers and Architects, a leading engineering and architectural consulting organization specializing in water, wastewater, hazardous waste, architecture, solid waste, civil and environmental engineering, and construction management, has announced the promotion of two new principals: Adriana S. Restrepo, P.E., ENV SP and Michael G. Savarese, P.E. These appointments reflect the firm’s continued growth and commitment to leadership excellence, technical innovation, and client service.
Adriana S. Restrepo, P.E., ENV SP, Vice President of Wastewater and Civil Engineering, brings over 30 years of experience in the planning, design and development of wastewater infrastructure projects, with a strong emphasis on hydraulic analysis, and the design of collection and treatment systems. Ms. Restrepo has served D&B’s municipal and private sector clients as a key project manager and technical expert on numerous complex high-profile, high-visibility wastewater projects. She recently led D&B’s design effort on the over $200 million Carlls River Watershed Sewer Project and is currently leading the design of multiple sewer collection and treatment systems for Suffolk County Department of Public Works. She has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to quality, collaboration, and client satisfaction. In her new role as Principal, she will continue to drive strategic initiatives and mentor the next generation of engineering talent.
Michael G. Savarese, P.E., Vice President of Water Supply, brings over 20 years of experience in the design and construction industry, specializing in water supply projects. Mr. Savarese guides and mentors multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the design and construction phases for a range of municipal infrastructure projects. He fosters a collaborative environment to deliver precise engineering plans and specifications suited for each project’s unique needs and to deliver impactful project outcomes. His primary areas of expertise include drinking water supply and storage systems, treatment facilities, distribution networks and pumping stations. As a long-term active member and current Past-Chair of the New York State Section American Water Works Association (NYSAWWA), Mr. Savarese is grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with incredibly committed and engaged drinking water professionals across the state, and most notably, the ability to be part of launching the Section’s One Water Workforce.
