The “Research Assistant” supports efforts to place candidates at client companies and generate fees. This individual will report to Senior Team Members on a project basis, gain knowledge of various subsectors of finance, and develop skills in each stage of the placement process. Trainees who demonstrate the ability to run assignments from start to finish will be promoted to “Associate Consultant”, and have the opportunity to develop their own specialty area.
Primary job responsibilities include:
Generating calling lists of potential candidates via social media research, referrals, and use of our proprietary in-house database management system.
Phone presentations to generate interest and pre-screening conversations.
Market research to identify new client targets, and hiring trends in the finance community.
Database Management: input & maintenance of candidate/client information.
Ideal candidates:
Degree and minimum experience of one year in an office environment.
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written presentation skills.
Basic computer skills: Windows & MS Office (Word/Outlook)
Self-starter & team player – must work well in a small office environment.
