Lynbrook Inducts 56 into National Art Honor Society

Brand new members of national honor society congratulated at ceremony.

Fifty-six student artists were inducted into the National Art Honor Society (NAHS) during a ceremony held on Feb. 10 at Lynbrook High School.

Current NAHS co-presidents Tess Finkelstein and Lauren Keegan emceed the event before a packed auditorium of family, friends and administrators. Together they handled the lighting of the society’s colors and inducted the new members, calling out each inductee by name.

The ceremony also featured an update from the society’s historian Frankie Tomasso, as well as a presentation of numerous awards. Faculty Advisor Michael Kunz joined Keegan in closing remarks. A reception in the cafeteria followed the event, where visitors were treated to a stunning gallery of artwork created by the inductees.
