Marion Street School’s annual blood drive resulted in a total of 35 pints of blood donated to the New York Blood Center last week.
Many students played an important role by serving as Little Doctors, helping the event run smoothly and making it a warm and enjoyable experience for participants.

The student volunteers donned doctor’s scrubs and assisted with various tasks throughout the drive. They greeted attendees with signs, provided donors with required paperwork, decorated handmade “thank you” cards for contributors and even entertained guests in the waiting area with energetic songs and cheers. The walls of the gymnasium, where the blood drive was held, were lined with signs created by students illustrating the value of giving blood.
The effort was a great success thanks to the thoughtful donors and caring, helpful students!
