Nassau Homeowner Catches Five Men Burglarizing His Home

The owner came home to find five burglars in his kitchen, two of them with guns.

A Elmont homeowner was shocked when he came home Friday afternoon and found five black-clad men in his kitchen, burglarizing his home.

According to police, the homeowner found the five men in his kitchen on Ludlam Avenue at 2:15 p.m. Friday. All of the men were wearing black sweatpants and black hooded sweatshirts, and they all had their faces covered. Two of them were brandishing black handguns. When the homeowner came in, the five fled the scene on foot with undisclosed items from their theft.

Police say all of the burglars were black men with slim builds. There's no further description.
