ABLE Safety Consulting 32-Hour Erector/Dismantler Supported Scaffold Safety Training Program.

Scaffolding is commonly used during renovation and construction activities. In its simplest form, a scaffold is any temporary lifted or suspended work surface applied to back up workers and/or materials. There are many types of scaffolds, both supported and suspended.
“Supported scaffold” shall be outlined as one or additional platforms supported by brackets, legs, poles, posts, uprights, frames, or similar rigid support forty feet in height or more and including, but not limited to, sidewalk bridge scaffolds, tube and coupler scaffolds, single pole scaffolds, tubular welded frame scaffolds, fabricated frame scaffolds, needle beam scaffolds, outrigger scaffolds, repair bracket scaffolds, mobile scaffolds, mast climber scaffolds that are mechanized or motorized, back structures for personnel hoists and/or material hoists and system scaffolds
ABLE Safety Consulting 32-Hour Erector/Dismantler Supported Scaffold Safety Training Program is in compliance with the training requirements of the administrative code of the city of New York. The training is typically provided in 4, eight-hour class sessions, however ABLE Safety Consulting is aware of the time sensitive needs of today’s Construction Professional and will work with your organization to design the most appropriate schedule possible. With evening class sessions available, one can fulfill work obligations by day and receive start of the art training by night.
Who Should Attend the Class?
Any individual who dismantles, erects, maintains, repairs or modifies any supported scaffold over forty feet must accomplished a training program of at least 32 - hours and be released a supported scaffold user certificate affirming completion of the course of study. An 8-hour scaffold safety and training refresher program or course must be accomplished 4 years.
