We serve Ukrainian citizens paroled into the U.S., as well as non-Ukrainians who resided in Ukraine and were paroled into the U.S. between February 24, 2022 and September 30, 2024. With locations in Garden City and Syosset we train over 2,000 children each week at every swim level from Beginner to Olympian. Long Island Swim School offers swim lessons for children ages 2 - 14years old. A  gun accidentally discharged in a North Massapequa home Wednesday night wounding a friend of the weapon owner, police said. The incident happened at about 11:30 p.m inside a house near the intersection of Broadway and North Hickory Street. It wasn't immediately clear, where the bullet struck the injured man, who's in his early 20s, but he was taken to a local hospital and was in stable condition. His injuries were not believed to be life threatening. Police said the gun owner was a civilian with a valid license who was not charged.
