Meet Tara and Taylor... Hallmark Channels Kitten Bowl Stars!
It’s rare that folks get to adopt a celebrity! Waiting for their forever home at Last Hope Animal Rescue is Tara and Taylor, a brother and sister duo who had the amazing opportunity to go to this years Kitten Bowl!
Both Tara and Taylor were born in June 2014. Now don’t let the mustache fool you- Tara is the hip little lady sporting the cute stache, and Taylor is the irresistible boy with the handsome shiny tuxedo! Both cats are said to have adorable personalities, and can’t wait to find their cozy forever homes.

Not familiar with the Kitten Bowl? You can help celebrate the “Last Hope Lions” return to national TV’s kitty kick-off by attending an Open House on Sunday, February 1st, while the Hallmark Channel airs “Kitten Bowl II” as a purring prelude to that other big football game.
The “Last Hope Lions” are roaring on the tiny gridiron again. During the Hallmark February 1st broadcast of “Kitten Bowl II”, Last Hope is inviting you to two football-festive Open Houses: one at our Adoption Center located at 3300 Beltagh Avenue in Wantagh (across the street from Wantagh High School), and the other at our satellite cat adoption site in the new Bellmore Petsmart at 2410 Merrick Road. Both events are from 12-4pm.

Adoptable cats will be playing in our decorated stadium and tailgate party room while the Hallmark Channel show streams. Adoptable dogs will be the cheering squad. There will be refreshments, raffles, face painting, balloon animals and fun for all fans. Two 2015 Last Hope Lion team mates- “Taylor” and “Tara” – are still waiting in Wantagh to find loving homes.
We are so thankful to the Hallmark Channel for the opportunity to be part of this incredible TV event that showcases our cats and the plight of all homeless pets. During the “Kitten Bowl II” broadcast on February 1st, fur will fly! Tune in to cheer the “Last Hope Lions” on. Better yet- attend the Last Hope “Kitten Bowl II” Open House in Wantagh, Bellmore or both. Go purple!
