Animal Adoptions and Bowling for a Cause! Who Could Ask for More?!
Meet 2 Cute Dogs and a Kitty, and Check out How You Can Help By Bowling For a Great Cause!
As always, there are great dogs and cats available for adoption this week, and to really make a difference, on March 27th you can join Last Hope is financing the veterinary care of many of the domesticated and feral cats left behind by residents who are required to abandon their trailers to make room for future development of the Frontier Trailer Park on Route 110 in Amityville, and they need your financial help and support for this huge endeavor. Tickets are $25; tickets for children 7 and under are $20. Tickets include shoes, pizza and soda. Bowling begins at 7:30 for 3 hours. There will be raffles as well. The event will take place on March 27th at Wantagh AMF Lanes, 1300 Wantagh Avenue in Wantagh. Hope to see you there!

JoJo is about 13 pounds of cuteness. This tiny Rat Terrier mix recently arrived from a Kentucky shelter, and now he is ready to meet you! JoJo has a tad more coat than a real Rat Terrier, and his ears tip over slightly in a gentle way. This sweetie would be a wonderful addition to a family. He is so cute! In case you are wondering who this gorgeous orange feline is – it’s Butterscotch! This adorable kitty was found in Farmingville by a concerned citizen that thankfully called Last Hope. Butterscotch was home fostered, has all his medicals completed, and now he’s ready to find his Forever home. His date of birth is estimated to be January 2014. And right next door at the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter is Lenny the Super Star!!! This hunky guy was found abandoned at a local state park and has completely won over the staff since his arrival! Lenny has tested great with all people and other dogs, and is one of the most handsome dogs I’ve ever laid eyes on. Lenny, at 2 years old and 75 pounds, is ready for the good life, so head on down to the shelter and consider adopting this looker today!
