Believing Is Seeing

Are you suffering?

Perhaps a newfangled outlook is in order. After all, ‘seeing is believing,’ is an archaic school of thought in our contemporary society that fails to deliver or sanction collective oneness or an open heart.

After His purposeful, painful passion and crippling crucifixion, Jesus completely understands your distress. As if that isn’t magnanimous and fortuitous enough, He wants to remove your anguish too. You may be wondering, “At what cost?” There will be no bartering or money involved, but you will have to assist by dislodging stagnant, constraining barriers that lurk with in your Soul, and hold it captive. Those stifling suffocating cobwebs that are draped over your heart have displaced love, and allowed negative lower energies and fallacious beliefs to set up residence, which have parched your fertile innate Goodness, and left it fallow. Navigating your heart from the dismal deceptions of darkness into the blazing and refreshing true Light is judicious, and having faith that He will not only guide you but ensure a seamless transition will cater to your renewed outcome.

Unfortunately, these dire, hardcore, unsubstantiated falsehoods have dwelled in mankind’s hearts for millennia. They are placed there by others directly and inadvertently, and are readily assimilated into our being without a conscious consideration or a notable forewarning. There they sit and wallow to the soggy tune of, “You’ll never know what hit you.”

Just after His Resurrection, Jesus arrived at the building where ten of His Disciples were gathered. In Thomas’ absence, Jesus breathed The Holy Spirit upon the ten, and they were transformed. They had a change of heart that enabled an altered, broader vision and deeper perception to which they assigned their lives. The Lord had touched their Souls, and declared and punctuated His presence, power, and providence. There was no turning back. They were ready.

Are you?

When the Apostles told Thomas, he rebuffed, and adamantly refused to believe unless he could place his hands in the grave wounds.

When have you needed proof before giving your stamp of approval? Why was it important?

At times, visibility can be highly overrated. Observing an occurrence does not always make it valid, which can be accurately illustrated by artful illusions, deceitful instrumentation, or inaccurate facts or belief systems that stack error against the truth, and lead to our ominous pitfalls.

Fifty days from Jesus’ Resurrection, The Holy Spirit besieged the followers exactly as Jesus had foretold them. When the Apostles spoke in tongues, many were amazed and perplexed by what they witnessed and understood from men who had no knowledge of their native languages.

Then again, there were others, who scoffed and sneered as they claimed that, “They must have imbibed wine.” These were the doubting Thomases, who were unable to ‘see’ or ‘believe’ what had occurred. What was missing for the few skeptics? Did they lack faith, love, or a clear conscious? Was Divine truth misplaced by fear, or had unknown and suspiciously bewitching activities caused them to caution, or negate the spectacular event altogether?

When Thomas observed the risen Jesus in his presence, he no longer had any need to touch His wounds. He believed, but only because he ‘saw.’

How is your vision? Is it clouding your spiritual perspective with physical symbols and ethos that undermine the ‘invisibility’ that outlines the very state of the unseen Father? Faith will guide you to the pivotal conversion area, where a different set of precepts will enlighten your being. It is likely that those who quibble with what the five senses dictate will surely have difficulty with that which requires extrasensory sensibilities, and are of a highly improbable nature. We must realize that believing in that which has no definable discernible proportions will assist in bringing it into our visual pathway so that we will know without the mandatory subscripts that calcify our hearts and etch away at our morals.

We must put aside fear, doubt, and linear thinking, which are trademarks of our earthly thought processes, and focus on God’s prophecy and how He works it throughout humanity. Only then, can we activate and comprehend the grand mystery of ‘believing is seeing.’

Acts 2:2-4, “…Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.”
