Long Island Swim School is the teaching arm of the nationally ranked Long Island Aquatic Club. Our Learn to Swim programs create strong, safe, and confident swimmers for life. With locations in Garden City and Syosset we train over 2,000 children each week at every swim level from Beginner to Olympian. Long Island Swim School offers swim lessons for children ages 2 - 14years old. The main emphasis of our programs is to teach children to swim correctly and develop essential water skills in a relaxed environment. A Wantagh man  has been charged with committing multiple burglaries while he was wearing a Cablevision uniform. Evan Schantz, 26, is accused of ten home thefts including one in Massapequa on July 30. He also struck in Wantagh, Levittown, Seaford and Syosset, according to police. Schantz was arrested at his home on Tuesday night and charged with second-degree burglary. Detectives said Schantz entered unlocked windows of corner houses while wearing the uniform and stealing jewelry from the homes. The other burglaries in Wantagh occurred on July 22, August 13 and August 31 while the thefts of Levittown homes took place on July 27, August 5 and August 31, cops said.  He also allegedly broke into homes in in Seaford on July 31 and Syosset on August 20.
