Catherine James Becomes Board Member Of ABWA NYC Chapter

Catherine James, affiliated with the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Massapequa Park office, has become a board member of the NYC chapter of ABWA. The American Business Women’s Association is a national organization established to bring together business women of diverse occupations and to provide opportunities for them to help themselves and others grow personally and professionally through leadership, education, networking support, and national recognition.

James is a highly skilled real estate professional with 25 years of real estate experience. She began her career in Florida and now lives in New York, servicing Nassau, Suffolk, and Queens. She has received her Senior Real Estate Specialist designation and is a member of the National Association of REALTORS® and Long Island Board of Realtors®. James joined the ABWA in September 2014 and has now been asked to serve on the board for a two year term, beginning in August.

A Seaford resident for four years, James enjoys giving back to the community in her free time. She’s previously volunteered for Augustine Tutors to mentor and teach dyslexic children how to read.

“I’m very proud to become a larger part of the organization and am looking forward to the new friendships that come with it,” said James, “It’s exciting that I get to contribute to an institution has that been helping women for 65 years.”
