Chamber of Commerce Mothers Day Fair

There was some great spring weather as well as rides, food, vendors and music at last weekend's event.

The Massapequa Chamber of Commerce sponsored a Mothers Day Fair at the Massapequa Train Station this past weekend. The weather was perfect as Moms had a chance to relax, shop and enjoy games, crafts, food and live entertainment.

Paul Cannata had a booth selling doll clothes. “We have been in business for close to 30 years," he said. " My wife sews clothes for the American Girl Doll collection that fit perfectly. The clothes that American Girl sells go for 2 or 3 times the price of what we sell and everything that we sell is made in America. We think that’s important.”

Gwen Anderson of “Dog Items Galore” said her kiosk saw brisk business: “We sell everything from dog signs and flags to cat key chains and doormats. We do very well at these Chamber of Commerce events.”
