Cheapest Gas in Massapequa: Christmas Weekend Edition

It's the most wonderful time of the year and we'd like to keep it that way.

We urge you to drive carefully and not drink and drive on this or any other day. But we also want to keep some hard earned cash in your pocket. So we're here with our Christmas weekend edition of "The Cheapest Gas in Massapequa," our weekly look at area gas prices.

A good place to start looking is the  at 5400 Sunrise Highway, which has the best price for regular and midgrade fuel.

Gulf is charging $3.259 for regular and $3.359 for midgrade.

The place to go for premium is the station at 520 Hicksville Road. They're listing a price of $3.459 a gallon.  

For diesel fuel, the  station at 6201 Sunrise Highway has the cheapest price at $3.459 a gallon.

If you're traveling by one horse open sleigh this weekend, you're on your own. 

The prices listed here are taken from Motor Trend's website, which bases its information on credit card transactions. Some stations offer cheaper prices for cash-only purchases.
