The skilled chess player may want to visit Chess USA. This store, located at 832 North Broadway, Massapequa, specializes in everything Chess and has over 2,000 different styles to choose from. Owner Quentin Turner said he sees all kinds of customers shopping for a unique chess set during the holiday season with a variety of styles and tastes.
“I will show one customer a [chess set] and they will be blown away,” Turner said. “Other times I show a chess set and the customer will just move on to the next set. It all depends on what someone is looking for.”
Chess USA has various traditional chess sets, electronic chess sets, and marble chess sets. Prices range from $7-$750. Turner said his store has a strong online clientele and customers had placed around from all over the country and in Europe.

American Girl is a series of dolls inspired to look like various ten-year-old girls throughout American history. The American Girl Designer clothes kiosk is located near J.C. Penney’s at Sunrise Mall and will be there until Dec. 24. Prices range from$8-$30.
