Christmas…
is a time filled with the ‘usual things.’

We are adapted to the frenzied festivities, fabulous smorgasbords, family traditions, friends, and the silent yet spectacular Christmas Tree.

Artificial, live, indoors or out, enormous or small, quaint or magnificent, they herald the season brightening, illuminating, commanding attention, reminiscent of days past when a Savior was promised and born by God’s majestic decree to institute everlasting change, exposing human conditions that jeopardize, trample, and immobilize civilization and individuality, and highlighting prospective avenues yet to be explored or outwardly attempted – kindness, tolerance, and succor opposed to indifference and hostility.

The Christmas Tree symbolizes all that is peaceful and possible, yet fragile in a menacing and intimidating world that dictates legislations and then disregards and prioritizes them for personal gain above the sequestered dominion.

Signifying righteousness, and an inner subconscious restlessness that cannot be dampened or dismayed, the reverent evergreen can calm and clear all layers of consciousness to reveal simple basic truths: we are loved beyond all measure, we do not walk alone, and God is good.

Unmistakable love for all His children was demonstrated by Christ Jesus’ birth as the long-awaited prophesy of the Savior has been fulfilled, and is renewed each Christmas as the Baby Jesus is placed in His Nativity manger and the sparkling trees far and wide are lit with hope for a redeemed and triumphant passage and period for mankind.

O come; O come Emmanuel… We are joyfully waiting. Merry Christmas! Rejoice! Exult! He is born.

~” The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth,” John 1:14. ~
