Nassau County Police released a sketch of a subject they say robbed a North Massapequa bank last month.
Cops said a female victim went to the night deposit box of Bank of America on North Maple Street at 10:09 p.m. April 29 with a deposit bag. While there, she was shoved to the ground by an unknown man with a black handgun who demanded the bag. He then forcibly stole the deposit bag, containing $1,231, and fled south on North Broadway toward Walnut Street.
The subject is described as a black male, 33-35 years old, between 5 feet 9 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall, thin build, and medium complexion. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a faded red hooded sweatshirt and was carrying a black semi-automatic handgun.
