A North Massapequa man faces arson charges after setting fire to his own car, reported Nassau County Police. Cops said Anastassios Poukamisas, 20, set fire to his car at about 7 p.m. May 1. North Massapequa firefighters responded to the call and brought the blaze under control.The fire destroyed the car and part of the house near which it was parked, police confirmed. An investigation led police to arrest Poukamisas and charge him with third- and fourth-degree arson. He will be arraigned Thursday at First District Court in Hempstead.
