Empty in Massapequa: Former Annie Sez store

One indication of these economic times is the number of "For Sale" and "For Rent" signs you see in the Massapequas.

If you go down Merrick Road, Sunrise Highway, Hicksville Road or other major roads in the area, you're sure to find a few.

We're gong to highlight some of those properties and ask you what you'd like to see in there.

This week we're going to llok at the site of the Recently closed Annie Sez store at 3200 Sunrise Highway.

The store closed last month and is being listed by Spiegel Realty.

It is part of the Sunrise Prominade shopping center and Spiegel currently lists 12,400 square feet available. They are asking for $26 to $28 per square foot a year.

The store was built in 1993.
