GrooveCar to Host Inaugural "Country Harvest" Concert Event to Benefit Island Harvest at Mulcahy's Pub and Concert Hall

There are 15 major sponsors of the event including, Teachers Federal Credit Union, Oceanside Christopher Federal Credit Union, New York Auto Giant, Long Island Chapter of Credit Unions and GrooveCar.  GrooveCar's founder and chief executive David Jacobson (aka Dave Stuart) will perform with the six-piece band "County Line."  County Line, which has a large following on Long Island, will be accompanied by award-winning country music singer Paula Rose.

The concert will feature the chart topping music of country music icons Blake Shelton, Brad Paisley, Jason Aldean, The Zac Brown Band, Tim McGraw, Carrie Underwood, Lady Antebellum, Toby Keith and many others.  Also being performed that evening will be "The Hero Bells Ring," an original song written by Dave Stuart, as a tribute to those affected by the tragedy of 9/11.  The song was originally sung by Stuart accompanied by the Long Island Philharmonic on July 4, 2004.

All proceeds generated from the event will benefit Island Harvest, whose volunteers and staff deliver millions of pounds of food to a network of almost 600 food pantries, soup kitchens and other local programs that offer food assistance to those in need.

Admission to the concert is $20 in advance and $25 at the door.
