Meetings of the Town of Oyster Bay Landmarks Preservation Commission are conducted in the Town Board Hearing Room, Town Hall East.
The commission was formed to review all applications for designation of Town landmarks. Building sites and districts are selected by reason of historical, architectural or antiquarian significance. The commission is also responsible for reviewing and approving alterations to the exterior of properties that have been given Town landmark status. The Town Board appoints the 7 voluntary members of this commission.
