A Deal on Meals

Starting Sunday, April 3, restaurants across the island will be participating in the first spring Long Island Restaurant Week. , located at 1 Park Lane, at 5074 Sunrise Highway, and , located at 5599 Merrick Road will all be participating in the event. At any of these three restaurants you will get a three course prix fixe meal for $24.95 all night (Saturday only until 7 p.m.).

Beat the Summer Heat

Thinking about getting a pool to combat the sweltering heat waiting for us in the coming months? Island Recreational, located at 1059 Hicksville Road, is giving away 100 free pools. All you need to do is call (516) 520-1860 and choose option five to register before you visit the store. Then purchase either a qualifying filter system (from $199 and up) or any Molokai brand in and out steps. As long as you are one of the first 100 people to register you will receive a free pool, but the sizes of the pools are given away on a first come first serve basis.

Senior Savings

is offering a five percent discount to anyone 55 and over on purchases of $30 or more on Tuesdays. You must present a coupon, which can either be found in the store’s weekly circular (which you can find at the store) or on their website, and your shopper’s club card for the discount.

Head on over to located at 11 Central Avenue for all of your Easter candy needs. You will find everything you need to fill your children’s Easter baskets at “Bunnyland”, or if you want, just buy a ready-made one!

Italian Gourmet Deals

If you don’t feel like cooking early in the week you could always head to , located at 4883 Merrick Road. On Mondays you will receive a free featured dessert with the purchase of any panini, entree, or salad. Wednesdays is pasta night, and for $10.95 you can choose from over 50 sauces and ten pastas with salad and bread. You’ll also get a $5 glass of wine or sangria with any pasta night purchase. If you just plan on going out for some drinks with co-workers or friends, every Tuesday night La Bottega offers $5 drink specials.
