Hiding In The Shadows

What was once considered an obscure and scary place, has become a default go-to refuge for those who are unsure what to do, don’t want to stir the proverbial pot, or are incapable of a definitive declaration.

Concealed in the shadows, lies one’s fiercest fears and most objectionable thoughts, that shudder at the possibility of exposure to light.

While it is a burying ground for some, others relish its nondenominational nature as a safe harbor. Seeking this as a place of retreat may bring momentary relief or a false sense of comfort, but building camp here stalls an individual’s growth, inhibits the massive change that awaits humankind, and thwarts the budding planetary awaking amidst the contrary oppressive backdrop.

Immobility is detrimental to the body, and also weakens the moral fibers that bind society and foster cohesiveness by limiting or avoiding certain additional stitches. Silence is the other paralytic that forces a shutdown, allowing the festering of comorbidities that travel like wildfires on dry brush.

Nothing in life is inherently bad because God created everything, and was very pleased with His design. Meaning is placed on all issues by humans.

Civilizations lived in darkness until fire was discovered and harnessed. It was a game-changer. Darkness could be dispersed, and illumination was sought.

Even something as simple as color has a value system. Red denotes anger, blue is tranquil, and darker shades are considered ominous. Worth is attached with every brush stroke, aligning colors, mixing, and separating some to make a point with a pop of vibrancy. It’s all part of the marvelous mural.

One aspect is not superior to another, and no piece will have as much of an impact by itself. The shades combine, and form subtle hues that are new to the prior chemistry, providing more options for fusion. They are welcomed, and add depth and perspective to the aforementioned, and generate a promise of hope that merging and togetherness are not only possible, but are the Lord’s designation.

What’s hiding in your shadows? Isn’t it time for them to see the Light?
