ICYMI: Woman Pushed To Ground During Massapequa Home Invasion

MASSAPEQUA, NY - A Massapequa woman was pushed to the ground by a home invader Thursday afternoon, according to Nassau Police.

According to detectives, a 58-year-old woman heard noises and footsteps upstairs while she was in the basement of her Hicksville Road home at about 1:20 p.m.

Upon returning to the main floor of the home, she noticed a man walk past the basement door.

The woman screamed and the man ran out of the house through a rear sliding glass door followed thereafter by the woman.

Upon exiting the door, the woman was suddenly pushed to the ground by the man who then fled through a side gate.
