WATCH: Man Caught on Video Stealing Wallet From Massapequa Dunkin' Donuts

The theft occurred on Sunday.

MASSAPEQUA, NY - Police are seeking a man who stole a wallet at a Massapequa Dunkin' Donuts on Sunday.

According to detectives, a 42-year-old woman exited the restaurant on 997 Carmans Road at about 9:50 a.m., leaving behind her wallet on a chair, police said.

The woman then called Dunkin’ Donuts but was advised the wallet, containing multiple credit cards and cash, was gone.

An investigation revealed the wallet was taken by a man described as having a large build and light complexion, police said.

He was also described as wearing a blue sweatshirt, dark colored shorts, black knit hat with an unknown symbol, white and black sneakers.
