Massapequa Couple Wins $5 Million Lottery Prize

Local woman also shares $1 million with her co-workers.

The last week of December was a very lucky time for Massapequa.

While other people were celebrating the holiday season, three residents residents shared in two separate seven figure New York  lottery prizes.

Dominick and Diana Morana will add at least $5 million to their bank accounts after winning the Set For Life Scratch off game.

Dominick bought the lucky ticket at the on North Broadway on Dec. 23.

But it wasn't the first time someone in their circle has joined the ranks of instant millionaires.

"My godparents won Mega Millions in 2011,"Dominick Morana said. While he's not taking home as much as his godparents' $72 million prize, Morana said he's got big plans for his winnings.

"We'll set up a college fund for our son," he said. "And, I'd like to buy a new Cadillac for me."

Meanwhile, Lisa DeMase, 54 was among five people who shared in a $1 million Power Ball Power Play prize.

All five winners work who shared in the Dec. 28 prize work in the same building.
