Massapequa's New One Stop Jeweler

If you are looking for unique jewelry for a birthday present,
anniversary gift or Valentine’s Day, Oddalys Marte wants you to know there’s a new shop in town.

Marte, who has been a jeweler in Massapequa since 2000 is the owner of , 5342 Merrick Road, Massapequa.  He said he is very excited to open this new store because it offers a greater experience than many of the usual mainstream jewelry stores in town.

“We have all types of service here,” Marte said. “Some stores don’t offer repairs like we do, but we do it all.”  

Marte said he got into the jewelry business several years ago with his brother-in-law and loves Massapequa because he’s been extremely successful since coming to the area. He began the business 25 years ago with a store on Canal Street in Manhattan and wanted to branch out to Long Island for more opportunity. He moved to Massapequa in 2000 and had a booth at the Jewelry Exchange in  Massapequa Park.

He said he wants his new store to be known as a one-stop
shopping and repair center for custom-made and fine jewelry in Massapequa. It also offers watch repairs as well.

C&R Jewelry carries a large selection of fine jewelry in gold featuring necklaces, bracelets, earrings and rings. Marte said he has been renovating his new store for the past two weeks and is looking forward to a big
Grand Opening and ribbon cutting with the e. “We are open right now but we’re going to have an official grand opening on February 3.”

All of his jewelry will be discounted and there is a large selection of priceless sparklers to choose from.

“We are marking everything 50 percent off for the grand
opening,” he said. “We want to let people know that we are here.”
