Massapequa School District Changes To School Makeup Days
The district made a change to the 2017-18 calendar regarding emergency makeup days.
MASSAPEQUA, NY - The Massapequa School District announced that a change has been made to the 2017-18 school calendar regarding emergency makeup days.
The change was made after a Memorandum of Agreement was reached between the board of education and Massapequa Federation of Teachers.
In the event schools are closed one day for snow or another unanticipated reason, the makeup day will be Friday, May 25.

If a second emergency makeup day is warranted, it will not be rescheduled.
Friday, April 6, and Thursday, April 5, will remain the makeup days if schools are closed for three and four days, respectively.

All calendars on the district website, www.msd.k12.ny.us, have been updated to reflect the change.
