Massapequa Teen Charged With Spray-Painting Hateful Graffiti in Brady Park: Police
The graffiti, which included swastikas, was discovered in the park last month.
MASSAPEQUA, NY - A Massapequa teen was arrested on Thursday for spray-painting graffiti, including swastikas, in Brady Park back in December, Nassau Police confirmed.
Brendon Hogan, 17, was charged with first degree aggravated harassment, fourth degree criminal mischief, and making graffiti, police said.
He was released on an appearance ticket returnable on Jan. 25.

Last month an employee discovered a swastika spray painted in the park on a wall near the shuffle board court. A second swastika was later discovered on a picnic table bench. Both swastikas were spray painted in black.
There have been multiple incidents of swastikas graffiti found in Nassau County.

Last month a Plainview man was arrested and charged with drawing hateful graffiti on the Nassau Community College campus in East Garden City on multiple different occasions.
In November, a swastika was found drawn on the boys' bathroom wall at a Port Washington school and racist graffiti was found on residential sidewalks in Mineola.
