Nassau County Police released the crime report for the week of Aug. 24 to Aug. 31.

Check out the following incidents and arrests near the Massapequa area over the past week as reported by police:

  • Aug. 25: A woman reported that someone entered her car and stole money from the glove compartment on Belmart Road in Hicksville.
  • Aug. 25: A man reported that someone entered his can and stole his watch on E Woodbine Drive in Hicksville.
  • Aug. 26: Someone reported that an unknown person entered three vehicles and stole personal property on Birchwood Lane in Hicksville.
  • Aug. 26: A man reported that someone entered his car and rummaged through the interior on Lindbergh Street in Massapequa Park.
  • Aug. 26: A woman reported that someone entered her car and stole $20 in assorted coins on Lindbergh Street in Massapequa Park.
  • Aug. 26: A man reported that someone entered his car and stole assorted coins on Lindbergh Street in Massapequa Park.
  • Aug. 27: A man reported that someone entered his car and stole money on Intervale Avenue in South Farmingdale.
  • Aug. 27: A man reported that someone spray painted graffiti on his back fence on Wilshire Drive in Syosset.
