Nassau County Police released the crime report for the week of Aug. 17 to Aug. 24.
Check out the following incidents and arrests near the Massapequa area over the past week as reported by police:
- Aug. 1: A man reported that someone cracked the windshield of his car parked on 2nd Avenue in Massapequa Park.
- Aug. 12: Someone reported that an unknown person smashed the back sliding door and cracked a bedroom window at a home on Sparrow Lane in Woodbury.
- Aug. 16: A woman reported that someone keyed her car at the Sunrise Mall in Massapequa.
- Aug. 17: A man reported that someone entered his car ans stole personal property at the Hardscrabble Senior Citizen Apartments on Main Street in Farmingdale.
- Aug. 19: A woman reported that someone stole both her license plates off her car on Nelson Street in Farmingdale.
- Aug. 20: A woman reported that her bicycle was stolen from the Harbor Green Beach Club on Riviera Drive E in Massapequa.
- Aug. 21: A woman reported that someone broke the drivers side window of her car on Gloria Road in Bethpage.
- Aug. 21: A man reported that someone stole the name tag off his mailbox at his Oakley Avenue home in Massapequa.
- Aug. 21: A man reported that someone entered his car and stole his iPhone and tablet on Floral Avenue in Bethpage.
- Aug. 22: A man reported that someone keyed his car on Shea Boulevard in Massapequa.
