Nassau Police Report: Week Of August 31

Nassau County Police released the crime report for the week of Aug. 31 to Sept. 7.

Check out the following incidents and arrests near the Massapequa area over the past week as reported by police:

• Aug. 30: Someone reported that someone stole two donation boxes from We Care Recycling on Jericho Turnpike in Garden City Park.
• Aug. 30: A man reported that someone entered his car and stole his golf bag and clubs on Cocks Lane in Locust Valley.
• Aug. 30: A woman reported that someone entered her car and stole her wallet with contents, sunglasses and leather jacket on Webster Avenue in Manhasset.
• Aug. 30: A man reported that someone entered his car and stole his sunglasses, cash and assorted merchandise.
• Aug. 31: A man reported that someone entered his car and ransacked the interior on Prince Lane in Westbury.
• Aug. 31: A woman reported that someone entered her car and stole her EZ Pass on Mayfair Lane in Hicksville.
• Aug. 31: A man reported that someone entered his car and stole his personal property on Union Avenue and Maple Avenue in Westbury.
• Aug. 31: Natali Alzate-Henao, 34, of Flushing was arrested for shoplifting from Macy's on Northern Boulevard in Manhasset.
• Aug. 31: A woman reported that someone damaged the passenger side window of her car at the Days Inn on Oyster Bay Road in Hicksville.
• Sept. 1: A man reported that someone entered his car and stole his personal property on Matinecock Court in Locust Valley.
• Sept. 3: A man reported that someone entered his car and rummaged through the car and stole $15 on Roselle Street in Mineola.
• Sept. 3: A woman reported that someone entered her car and stole her iPod and Jimmy Choo prescription sunglasses at a doctor's office on Fulton Street in Westbury.
• Sept. 4: Sofia Esquivel-Cobian, 221, of Hempstead was arrested for shoplifting from Target on Corporate Drive in Westbury.
• Sept. 4: A 19-year-old Westbury man and a 20-year-old East Meadow man were arrested for possessing marijuana on Hidden Lane in Westbury.
• Sept. 4: A 24-year-old Stockton woman was arrested for possessing marijuana at the Hilton Garden Inn on Privado Road in Westbury.
• Sept. 5: A man reported that someone stole his bicycle from the Plainview Family Pharmacy on Manetto Hill Road in Plainview.
