Nassau County Police released the crime report for the week of July 20 to July 27.

Check out the following incidents and arrests near the Massapequa area over the past week as reported by police:

  • July 12: A woman reported that someone entered her car and stole a parking permit from her car at the Southgate Shopping Center on Merrick Road in Massapequa.
  • July 20: A man reported that someone entered his shed and stole assorted tools at his home on Biltmore Boulevard in Massapequa.
  • July 22: A man reported that someone scratched his car on Franklin Avenue in Massapequa.
  • July 22: A man reported that someone entered his car by breaking the front passenger side front window on Cherry Lane East in Syosset.
  • July 23: A woman reported that someone entered her car and stole personal property on Laurie Boulevard in Bethpage.
  • July 23: A man reported that someone entered his car and stole assorted change on Shelley Drive in Bethpage.
  • July 24: A man reported that someone damaged his PVC fence at his home on Birchwood Park Drive in Syosset.
  • July 24: A man reported that someone broke the driver side window of his car on Hicksville Road in Bethpage.
  • July 25: It was reported that someone stole two wooden picnic tables from the back parking lot of the NYS DMV office on Carmans Road in Massapequa.
  • July 25: A 21-year-old South Farmingdale woman and a 22-year-old Franklin Square man were arrested for possessing marijuana on David Street and Hewlett Street in Frankin Square.
