Nassau County Police released the crime report for the week of July 13 to July 20.

Check out the following incidents and arrests near the Massapequa area over the past week as reported by police:

  • June 30: A woman reported that someone stole an Amazon package that was delivered to her home on Roosevelt Boulevard in Massapequa.
  • July 10: Someone stole a package delivered by UPS in front of a home on Highland Street W in Massapequa.
  • July 11: A person reported that a total of 50 dilapidated and broken shopping carts were stolen from the back of Shop Rite on Sunrise Highway in Massapequa.
  • July 13: Several people reported that someone damaged their cars parked on Damin Drive in South Farmingdale.
  • July 13: A man reported that someone stole his license plate and replaced it with another NYS license plate while parked at the LIRR station on Sunrise Highway and Park Boulevard in Massapequa Park.
  • July 15: A woman reported that someone stole her wallet from her pocketbook while at an AA meeting at Church Nazarene on Roosevelt Avenue in Massapequa Park.
  • July 16: A man reported that someone stole a license plate from the back of his car while parked on Quail Run in Massapequa.
  • July 19: A man reported that someone smashed the front drivers side window of his car on Devon Road in Bethpage.
  • July 19: A man reported that someone keyed his car on Evergreen Avenue in Bethpage.
