Nassau Police Report: Week Of Oct. 12

Nassau County Police released the crime report for the week of Oct. 12 to Oct. 19.

Check out the following incidents and arrests near the Massapequa area over the past week as reported by police:

  • Oct. 12: A man reported that someone stole 8 copper pipes from the back yard of his home on Abbey Street in Massapequa Park.
  • Oct. 13: A woman reported that someone cut the wires to her Halloween decorations on Willow Street in Massapequa Park.
  • Oct. 13: A 22-year-old Massapequa man and a 21-year-old Copiague woman were arrested on Cross Street and Post Avenue in Old Westbury for possessing marijuana.
  • Oct. 14: Garret Bender, 22, of East Farmingdale was arrested for shoplifting from Walgreens on Main Street in South Farmingdale.
  • Oct. 15: A woman reported that someone smashed the passenger front window of her car at STS Tire and Auto Center on Sunrise Highway in Massapequa.
  • Oct. 16: A 26-year-old Syosset man was arrested on Sheridan Boulevard and Donohue Avenue in Inwood for possessing marijuana in Inwood.
