Obituary: Eugene Brozio, formerly of Massapequa Park, Dies at 86

Visitation will take place on Thursday.

Died: May 21, 2016

Visitation: Thursday, May 26, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Massapequa Funeral Home, North Chapel on 1050 Park Boulevard in Massapequa Park.

Service: Friday, May 27, starting at 10:45 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes R.C. Church on 855 Carman Road in Massapequa Park.

Obituary: Eugene (Gene) Brozio, formerly of Massapequa Park, passed away on Saturday, May 21 in Westford, Massachusetts. He was 86.

Brozio was born in New York, NY on October 9, 1929.

He was a Korean War veteran and additionally spent 30 years with the New York Police Department, where he rose through the ranks and retired as a Deputy Inspector.

After retirement, he enjoyed international travel with his wife, Dorothy.

He and Dorothy also enjoyed weekend trips and excursions with their many friends. In later years, Brozio greatly enjoyed his role as grandfather.

He recently moved to Massachusetts to live with his daughter and her family.

Brozio enjoyed spending his time with his three grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his wife and his son, Frank.

He is survived by his daughter Ann (Brozio) Miller, his son-in-law Robin Miller, and three grandchildren, Matthew, Zachary and Abigail Miller, all of Westford, Massachusetts.
